Mindful Leadership and Wellness© is a seven-week, organization-specific course that explores the intersection of mindfulness training and some of the key qualities of great leaders –clarity, compassion, creativity and focus- through weekly two-hour classes and usually includes one full day retreat. It invites employees to begin to notice the auto-pilot, conditioned reactivity that is often a part of our lives, and to cultivate the mind’s ability to be more present. Each week builds on the prior one and adds new practices and applications. The participant is encouraged to engage with daily practice (sitting meditation and/or simple stretches) for 20-30 minutes per day, in addition to assignments that explore bringing mindfulness to everyday events (driving, meetings, calendars, communication, decision making).
