Finding the Space to Lead: A Practical Guide to Mindful Leadership© Online Course
Four Wednesdays, June 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, 2017 | 3:00pm to 4:30pm EDT
It’s hard to be a leader when you’re so busy trying to stay current that you have no time to focus on the big picture. As we scurry through back-to-back meetings, fend off constant “emergency” interruptions, and scramble to react to change, we may feel that the last thing we should choose to do is ‘one more thing’.
But what if this “one more thing” can give you more space to do a better job and be a better leader? And what if you can do it from the comfort of your home or office?
This live online course based on Janice Marturano’s award-winning book, Finding the Space to Lead offers just that: an opportunity to spend 90 minutes a week, for four weeks, training your mind and cultivating your natural ability to lead — an investment that will yield benefits through all the hours of your days.
Each week’s online session will draw from the Institute’s Leading with Excellence Curriculum and will include: mindful leadership reflections that explore direct applications for increasing your capacity to lead with excellence, guided meditation instruction, Purposeful Pause instructions for practical, everyday mindful leadership practices for work and home and much more.
In each session there will be opportunities for live Q and A as well as an online forum for sharing, with weekly practice assignments, mid-week supportive reminders and topic-specific emails.
Course Fee: $595
